1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using X Cleaner ("the extension", "the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension.

2. Description of Service

X Cleaner is a Chrome browser extension that allows users to scan, select, and delete their own tweets, retweets, and likes from X (formerly Twitter). The extension operates within the user's browser using their existing authenticated X session.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use paid features. The free tier is available to anyone with an X/Twitter account.

4. Plans and Pricing

• Free — 10 deletions per day, unlimited scanning. No payment required.
• Pro Monthly (€4.99/month) — Unlimited deletions, advanced filters, export, protect mode, statistics, priority speed. Cancel anytime.
• Pro Lifetime (€49.99, one-time) — All Pro features, forever. One-time payment, no recurring charges.

Prices are in euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Payments and Billing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

• Pro Monthly: recurring monthly charge. You can cancel anytime through the Stripe Customer Portal.
• Pro Lifetime: one-time charge at purchase. No recurring payments.

6. Cancellation and Downgrade

If you cancel your Pro Monthly subscription:

• You retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
• After that, you revert to the Free tier (10 deletions/day).
• Pro Lifetime users are not affected — their access never expires.
• You can switch from monthly to lifetime at any time.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. To request a refund, contact us at contact@x-cleaner.app within 14 days of your purchase. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Only use X Cleaner on your own X/Twitter account
• Not attempt to bypass the free tier usage limits
• Not reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the extension
• Not use the extension for any unlawful purpose
• Not share, resell, or transfer your license key to others

9. Disclaimer

X Cleaner is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The extension will work without interruption or errors
• Deletions are permanent (X/Twitter may retain data on their servers per their own policies)
• The extension will continue to function if X/Twitter changes their API or website structure

X Cleaner is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with X Corp. or Twitter, Inc.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the extension. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service for users who violate these terms, without prior notice or refund.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the extension or our website.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent French courts.
