1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using X Cleaner ("the extension", "the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension.

2. Description of Service

X Cleaner is a Chrome browser extension that allows users to scan, select, and delete their own tweets, retweets, and likes from X (formerly Twitter). The extension operates within the user's browser using their existing authenticated X session.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use paid features. The free tier is available to anyone with an X/Twitter account.

4. Plans and Pricing

• Free — 50 deletions per day, unlimited scanning. No payment required.
• Pro (€4.99, one-time) — Unlimited deletions. One-time payment, lifetime access.
• Premium (€7.99/month) — All features including advanced filters, export, protect mode, and statistics. Monthly subscription.

Prices are in euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Payments and Billing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

• Pro plan: one-time charge at purchase.
• Premium plan: recurring monthly charge. You can cancel anytime through the Stripe Customer Portal.

6. Cancellation and Downgrade

If you cancel your Premium subscription:

• You retain Pro-level access (unlimited deletions) for the remainder of your billing period and beyond.
• You lose access to Premium features (advanced filters, export, protect mode, statistics) at the end of your billing period.
• You never revert to the Free tier — your previous one-time purchase is honored.

7. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. To request a refund, contact us at contact@x-cleaner.app within 14 days of your purchase. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Only use X Cleaner on your own X/Twitter account
• Not attempt to bypass the free tier usage limits
• Not reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the extension
• Not use the extension for any unlawful purpose
• Not share, resell, or transfer your license key to others

9. Disclaimer

X Cleaner is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The extension will work without interruption or errors
• Deletions are permanent (X/Twitter may retain data on their servers per their own policies)
• The extension will continue to function if X/Twitter changes their API or website structure

X Cleaner is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with X Corp. or Twitter, Inc.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the extension. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the service for users who violate these terms, without prior notice or refund.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Significant changes will be communicated through the extension or our website.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bordeaux, France.
